St Margaret's is the only girls' school in Aberdeen and has about 380 pupils between the ages of 3 and 18.
In terms of curriculum and extra-curricular events, St Margaret’s school is broad enough to provide versatility and choice, but small enough to ensure that every girl is well known in a friendly and family environment.
The staff of St Margaret are specialists in teaching girls and are dedicated to helping each girl to be everything she can be both inside and outside the classroom. Since 1846, St Margaret’s school have specialised in education for girls at St Margaret's. We agree that single-sex education provides girls with a place where their intellectual and physical identity can flourish.
St Margaret’s school have a rich array of extra-curricular opportunities for our pupils at all ages and levels. It provides music, sport, debate, drama, dance, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and many other events. These are fun in themselves, but they also help girls improve the abilities and personal attributes they need to be successful and satisfied outside of school.
St Margaret’s school are not complacent at St Margaret's: we are constantly improving and expanding our provision to meet our pupils' changing needs and the challenging world of the twenty-first century.
